Mortgage bond prices remain lower on the day erasing some of the gains from yesterday afternoon.
There
was no data this morning but we are seeing a selloff from the recent
highs this week which is not uncommon considering the positive streak.
Not
only does Greece continue to make headlines but the fears are spread
across the euro zone. Banks in Spain are seeing valuations plummet
following the bank runs in Greece earlier in the week. Spain currently
faces about a 25% unemployment rate, real estate woes, and debt
problems.
